Exoplanets: Worlds Beyond Our Solar System

Programming Schedule: To Be Announced

Jenn has been interested in outer space from a very young age. She remembers fondly watching Star Trek every evening with her parents and brother when she was young. Her grandfather was an astronomer and physicist who encouraged her to explore the world around her. Her parents also encouraged her interest in science and she spent many weekends with them and her brother attending model rocketry events. She was a ZOOM Guest in episode 226 of the PBS show ZOOM featuring an Omlood rocket.

Now Jenn spends her time researching exoplanets, planets outside our solar system, and teaching physics at Union College. She recently finished her PhD thesis which focused on the reflected light of exoplanets orbiting extremely closely to their host stars. She enjoys relaxing with her family and her cat Boo, and brewing beer with her fiance on weekends.
